You may have seen a number of messages recently about competitions happening around the region, and also the upcoming Archery NZ Nationals being hosted in Auckland. If you are still feeling a bit lost on what all this means, we are providing an open opportunity to find out and discuss with experienced members.
Coaches Russell and Mitchell will be hosting a brief seminar this Saturday at 11am in the Clubrooms (Bowling Green). They will discuss with you what competition archery looks like in New Zealand. This is free and open to all members.
- How does competitive archery work? –
- What you can expect to happen at a Wellington or National-level competition?
- What is the importance of 720 shoots?
- NZ Archery Rankings
- NZ Major competitions (ie. Nationals, Trans-tasman, Archery OSA) and how to register?
…and lastly help you understand how to progress from your every-day shooting to be ready for your first competition.
Look forward to seeing you there.
