Matariki Weekend at Mana

Saturday: A registered major on the 21st June, Saturday ($40 entry).

  1. For all compound and recurve competitors over 18, the round to be shot is the National.
  2. For all barebow, traditional and longbow competitors, the round to be shot is the St Nicholas.
  3. For all age groups under 18 and bow types, the round to be shot is the St Nicholas.

Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each bow division irrespective of gender for age groups Over 21, U21, U18 and U16.

As Archery NZ rules:
National 48 @ 73 m, 24 @ 55 m on a 122cm, 5 zone scoring
St Nicholas 48 @ 37 m, 36 @ 28 m on 122cm, 5 zone scoring
To allow for all competitors finishing shoot at the same time, the National competitors start their practice end when the St Nicholas competitors have scored 1 end.

Sunday: A non-registered 2d and 3d shoot on the 22nd June, Sunday ($10 entry paid on the day). This will be held on the domain with targets at varying distances. Number and distance will depend upon those indicating attendance.

The shoot on the Sunday is dependent upon:

  1. Sufficient interest lodged on the Google form at field entry form
  2. Sufficient number of volunteers pledging their help in setting up and closing up on the Sunday
  3. Weather – decision to be made on the Saturday
