Mana Club AGM – Saturday 22nd Nov at 10:00 club rooms. All ranges will be closed until after the AGM. We have currently 73 members, lets got 22 members at the AGM, that’s only 30%

Archery NZ Constitution forum – Monday 17th Nov, 7.30pm. It is important for you to attend via the link sent to you in the Archery NZ email inviting you. If you have lost it contact me for the link.

Why is it important?

  • Archery NZ must have a constitution in place before the 5th April 2026 that complies with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. The current one does not. (Our club constitution does comply)
  • At the last vote by members, the new constitution was not approved. Failure to get a new compliant constitution in place will mean Archery NZ should either appoint a liquidator or apply to be dissolved before 5 April 2026. If it does nothing it will cease to exist. The likely impact of this will be loss of affiliation with World Archery, Sport NZ and loss of funding. Other knock on impacts are possibly NO archers officially representing NZ, inability to hold National competitions. Archery in NZ will be club based and rely on interaction between clubs.
  • There will be a new vote before Christmas. Before then, you will have a chance to hear other members concerns or support, add your own concerns or support, have input to the next steps.
