Calling All Intermediate and High School Archers: Monthly School Shoots Are Here!

1–2 minutes

Hey youth archers! Did you know you can compete nationwide right from our club range every single month?

The Archery NZ Youth Interclub league (formerly known as the Schools Postal Programme) gives you the chance to test your skills, rack up personal bests, and represent both Mana Archery Club and your school!

📅 How it Works

Shoot the Monthly Round: Every month features a new round and challenge. You can shoot the designated round as many times as you like during the month!

Record Your Score: Write your scores on the dedicated score sheet and have it signed off by one of the senior archery club members.

Submit to Russell: Hand your completed, signed score sheet to Russell Abery (our School Shoots Coach) by the last day of the month.

Best Score Counts: Russell will take your single highest score from the month and submit it to Archery NZ!

ℹ️ Prefer paper details? You can also find all current info and score sheets posted inside the clubhouse!

💡 What You Need to Know (Quick Summary)

❓ Where to Shoot: You can shoot your rounds right here at the club during normal target sessions (or during a school training session if your school has facilities).

🏆 Individual & Team Comp: You’ll compete against archers across NZ in your age group (Intermediate for Years 7–8, Secondary for Years 9–13). Plus, your scores automatically help build team scores to compete against other schools!

💲Free for Club Members: Because you’re a member of Mana Archery Club, you don’t have to pay the $10 entry fee – it’s completely free for you to enter!

Want Even More Shoots? Archery NZ also runs a Youth Postal Program monthly. If you are an Archery NZ member, you can jump into those score ladders too!

Got questions? Chat with Russell at the range! Grab a score sheet, step up to the line, and let’s get Mana Archery on top of the leaderboard!
