Any archery round can be shot at club level. However, to claim records, perfects, merit pins or improve your archer NZ ranking, it will be required to be shot under certain conditions – see here.
Archery NZ Outdoor ranking rounds
The scores obtained from competing in registered major tournaments for these rounds:
- are used to assess the Archery NZ archer rankings – more information.
- are used by the Archery NZ selection process when they are selecting archers to represent New Zealand at International tournaments – more information
- can be used to claim Archery NZ Records – more information
- can be used to claim Archery NZ merit pins, perfects and merit stars – more information
Archery NZ Outdoor non ranking rounds
The scores obtained from competing in registered major tournaments for these rounds:
- can be used to claim Archery NZ Records – more information
- can be used to claim Archery NZ merit pins, perfects and merit stars – more information
- they are NOT referenced in the Archery NZ selection process
- they are NOT used to assess a Archery NZ archer ranking
Archery NZ Indoor rounds
These rounds can be shot indoors or outdoors. The scores obtained from competing in registered major tournaments for these rounds:
- can be used to claim Archery NZ Records – more information
- can be used to claim Archery NZ merit pins and perfects – more information
- they are NOT referenced in the Archery NZ selection process
- they are NOT used to assess a Archery NZ archer ranking
Archery NZ Interclub postal rounds
These rounds are variations of the Canadian 900 and are used for the postal competition. Details can be found here
